Privacy Policy

The short version: LoveVocab doesn't collect, store, or transmit any of your data, anywhere. Everything you create lives only on your iPhone.

No account, no backend

LoveVocab has no sign-up, no login, and no server of any kind. There is nothing to create an account for, because there is no system on the other end to create an account with.

Everything stays on your device

Every flashcard you create, every box assignment in the Leitner system, every favorite, and every review you complete is stored locally in the app's data on your phone. None of it is uploaded, synced, or backed up to any server we control.

No analytics, no ads, no tracking

LoveVocab does not include any analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or crash-reporting services that phone home. We don't know how many cards you've made, what you study, or how often you open the app — there is no mechanism for us to find out.

No network requests

Beyond the one-time App Store download and update process handled entirely by Apple, LoveVocab makes no network requests. The app does not talk to the internet to function.

AI card generation

If a future version of the app introduces an AI feature that requires sending text to a third-party AI provider to generate a flashcard, that will be clearly disclosed here and only the minimal text needed (the word or topic you typed) will ever be sent — never your saved cards, review history, or any other personal data. As of this version, this policy reflects the current, fully offline build.

Children's privacy

Because LoveVocab collects no data at all, there is no data collected from users of any age, including children.

Deleting your data

Uninstalling the app permanently deletes everything, since it never existed anywhere but on your device.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future feature requires limited network access — this page will be updated and the change will be clearly explained, with the date above reflecting the latest revision.
